Kyra Minton Sedgwick was born in New York City and is an American actress. The actress is a household name across the globe, but is most famously in America for her lead role in the TV show 'The Closer'. Sedgwick's debut acting gig was in a television show known as 'AnotherWorld. The show was on when she was aged 16.
