Marg Shelgenberger was an American actor who was famous for her performance in the film "Ryan's Hope," in the film, she played Siobhan Ryan. It's been an incredible experience for the girl from a small town to Hollywood. As a young girl she didn't have any hopes of being an actor. She hoped to become a nurse like her mother. Her interest in acting grew while visiting colleges and deciding which degree she would choose to pursue. A talent scout spotted her performing in a show at the university. He inspired her to pursue a career as an actor. In addition to 'China Beach her other roles included in TV and film, including 'Ryan's Hope'. Her performance as a survivor of exposure to chemicals in the movie "Erin Brockovich" was among her most well-known performances. Despite her hectic calendar, Marg manages to make the time to support charities and host an annual golf tournament for celebrities to help raise funds for awareness of breast cancer.
